Where are Spire Hosting servers located?
We are a UK company based in Chesterfield. Shared, reseller and agency hosting runs on our own hardware in a carbon-neutral European datacentre. Cloud VPS is available in Germany, the USA and Singapore. Support is 100% UK-based either way.
Is your support based in the UK?
Yes. We do not outsource support. You speak to a UK-based technician — tickets, live chat, email and phone — not an overseas call centre reading a script.
Can you migrate my website to Spire Hosting?
Yes. Migrations are free on most plans. Use the tools in the client area or raise a ticket and we will move the site, email and DNS with you.
What is your backup policy?
Accounts are backed up at least daily, with daily restore points kept for 14 days and additional weekly backups retained for longer. Backups are stored off-site.
What is your refund policy?
If you are not happy with the service, a full refund is available within the first 30 days of your subscription. Domains are excluded.
