Think of your website as a house – you might consider Web Hosting to be the foundation, or the land on which it sits.

A domain name (or URL) is the address by which you visit the website – e.g. spirehosting.co.uk!

The sky really is the limit! Our shared hosting plans rely on CloudLinux, cPanel and Apache, which is the perfect backline for most websites including WordPress and many other CMS platforms.

However, if you’re looking for something a little more bespoke, we are able to offer custom VPS and hosting packages upon request. 

No! We like to take a “keep it simple” approach – One of our core aims is to demystify the world of web hosting!

The tools provided, including our built-in WordPress manager and site builder make administering your website a doddle, and our friendly, UK-based support team are always on hand to assist and offer advice if you need it.

We have specially designed a migration tool so that you can migrate your site over in just a few clicks. This migration suite can be found within your client area, or, alternatively you can submit a support ticket to our team and we will migrate it over for you whilst you wait!

Yes – Simply head to your client area, where you will be able to upgrade your account. Alternatively, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise you on the best options available to you.

We back up all sites a minimum of once daily. These daily backups are then retained for 14 days, with further weekly backups available for up to 30 days.

All backups are securely stored off-site, so in the unlikely event of failure, your data will be safe.
